Opto 22 groov RIO® GRV-R7-MM1001-10 Universal Edge I/O Module
The Opto 22 groov RIO® GRV-R7-MM1001-10 is a powerful universal edge I/O module that combines flexible industrial I/O, edge processing, secure networking, and IIoT communications into a single compact device. With 10 software-configurable multifunction channels, built-in networking, and support for industrial protocols, the groov RIO simplifies the integration of sensors, actuators, relays, and field devices without requiring multiple dedicated I/O modules.
Unlike traditional PLC I/O, each multifunction channel can be configured through software for a wide range of signal types, including analog inputs, discrete I/O, thermocouples, RTDs, frequency, pulse counting, relay outputs, and more. This flexibility makes the GRV-R7-MM1001-10 an ideal edge controller for industrial automation, environmental monitoring, machine integration, and process control.
When integrated with Microclimates EnvOS®, the groov RIO provides a highly flexible platform for connecting environmental sensors, irrigation systems, lighting controls, pumps, energy meters, weather stations, and custom equipment. Data can be securely exchanged using MQTT, Modbus TCP, REST APIs, OPC UA, Node-RED, and Sparkplug B, enabling seamless integration between operational technology (OT) and enterprise systems.
