Agrowtek GrowControl SXW
GrowControlTM SXW Weather Monitor & Logger is a precision digital outdoor sensor station featuring temperature, humidity, ambient light, and optional optical rain sensor, wind speed anemometer and wind direction vane. Housed in a rugged powder coated aluminum enclosure and designed for pole mounting. Internal memory logs 21,600 data points for months or years of storage.
Wind Speed Anemometer
Wind speed anemometer with 3 cup rotor masures wind speeds from 1 to 125 MPH. Extremely rugged for harsh conditions and sensitive to the slightest breeze. Simple two-wire connection to transmitter.
Wind Direction Vane
Wind vane uses German Hall effect sensor for precision and durability. Many potentiometer type wind vanes have a dead spot of several degrees, friction from the sensor and a defined life span. Agrowtek's wind vanes have zero dead band, are near-zero friction and have a theoretical infinate life.
Optical Rain Sensor
Sensitive rain sensor can detect a single drop on the sensor dome and works in all weather conditions. When ordered with the weather station the rain sensor is pre-installed.
Pole Mounting Bracket Kit
Optional pole mount bracket includes a stainless steel bracket for mounting the SXW weather station, two 1" pole clamps and a PVC stand-off pipe for the weather station.
Improved Enclosure
New enclosure design offers enhanced protection from elements including dust and mists while maintaining high air flow for sensor accuracy. A new hanger design simplifies installation allowing the cable to double as a rope to suspend the sensor.
Mounting Kits
Optional mounting kits provide a simple and robust solution for mounting your weather station components; select the mounts necessary for the sensors and components that your weather station is equipped with.
Enclosure Pole Mount
Enclosure mount kit allows SXW weather station to be pole mounted on a mast; typically the same mast as the wind sensors.
External Sensor Platform
Sensor platform mount allows wind, rain and light instrumentation (SXQ Quantum Light Sensor) to be located above ridge lines for accurate measurements.
Tripod Base
Outdoor rated tripod bases are also available for field or roof top installation using a customer supplied pole up to 10ft in height (EMT conduit 1" recommended.) Tripod legs includes mounting flanges allowing the tripod to be securely mounted to a surface.
