Welcome to Microclimates. In this video, we’ll show you how to verify that your wireless sensors are successfully communicating with the microclimates Environmental Operating system before installing them in your operation. Before you begin, be sure you have created your user ID and password at Microclimates.com and that your edge computing device is connected to your network router. Now let’s get started. When your order arrives, unbox all your sensors and place them on a table.

No need to press any buttons as sensors are typically shipped powered on while our team has pre verified communication. This step allows you to confirm everything before deployment. Next, log in to microclimates.com. Navigate to the devices tab previously called Integration Cards. Locate the card or cards representing your sensors. Note A card may represent a single or multiple sensors.

Use the drop down to view individual sensors if needed. Check for connectivity. Allow about five minutes for the sensors to connect. Scroll down to find the last seen time stamp. If your sensor is connected, it will display today’s date. If the timestamp shows a date earlier than today, the sensor is not yet communicating. Wait a couple more minutes.

If the status hasn’t updated, email us at Support@microclimates.com. Our team is here to help. Thank you for watching and thank you for choosing microclimates. You’re now one step closer to seamless environmental automation.
