Aurora Greenhouse 1 Pumps isn't coming on

Good morning! Dry Contact relay interface isn’t coming on in Greenhouse # 1 but it’s coming on automatically on the Microclimates

Hello Rohan. If the Microclimates system is talking to the dry contact interface, and those relays aren’t activating, then the relay itself is failing.

  1. Verify if Microclimates is talking to the relay panel by going to the back of the card, and pressing the Verify button on the Grownet Unit section. If the verify test passes, then communication is happening to that dry contact relay

  2. If no communication, try checking or replacing cables - is there any corrosion on the contacts, etc.

  3. If a S/N (serial number) is shown after you’ve pressed the verify button, that means the communication is intact. From that point, it could be that one of your physical relays has stopped working. The easiest thing to do is wire it up to another (working) relay.

Let us know how this goes and we’ll be happy to help.

Hello Loren. We find the issue. There were numerous corrosions on some of our wires leading to the 8-port hub which we changed. I think the whole system needs to relocate because of moisture and humidity.

It’s great to hear you found the issue!

Adding some dielectric grease to those connections will increase their life, and getting them out of a humid environment is best. They can also be mounted inside enclosures if relocating is difficult at your location.
