This question came into our support email, and am answering here in case others have the same request.
Each card has inputs and outputs, and cards can be connected in a way that an output from one card can be connected to the input of another card.
In this case we have a card representing a bank of peristaltic pumps like this:
If, for example, we want pump 2 to come on and off with pump 1, we can use the connected card functionality - available on the back of every card:
Select this item, then select Add a Connection. In this case, we’re creating an outbound connection from this card back into a different element of this card. It would look something like this:
Here we have created a new outbound connection from the Nutrient Pumps card out to the same card (Nutrient Pumps). The connection is triggered by the output of Flora Micro - Brown, such that any time it changes, that output is sent to the input element **Flora Gro - Green".
With this connection in place, any time the Flora Micro - Brown pump switches on or off, that same value will be forwarded to Flora Micro - Green turning it on and off at the same time.
