Seeed Studio - Provisioning Sensors
Introduction
Welcome to microclimates. In this video, you’ll learn how to configure a Sensecap sensor by Seed Studio and add it to your microclimate system. Let’s get started. First, you’ll need to download the Sensecap app. Make sure you have your sensor in hand before proceeding. Open the app and tap the plus icon to add a new device.
Scan the QR code located on your sensor. Tap Add to Account. Your device is now added to your app. Next, tap Configure. Follow the prompts to pair your device. Once paired, a unique long digit device UI will appear. Tap the arrow icon next to this number. Select Advanced Configuration. From the settings menu, scroll to platform and choose Other Platform.
Set the frequency plan to us 915. Within the Advanced Configuration section, you’ll find the app UI and App Key. You’ll need these values to connect your sensor to microclimates. Now log in to your microclimates account. Navigate to devices and select Add Device. Choose the correct device type. In this case SenseCap CO2 sensor. Click on the back of the device card to access sensor settings.
Enter the device UI and app key copied from the SenseCap app. Click Save and Save again. Now return to the SenseCap app and press send to complete the configuration. Your device is now fully configured and connected to the Microclimates Environmental Operating system. You’re all set. Reach out to us at support@microclimates.com with any questions.
